Administrators may change already created goals to keep them aligned with new priorities, available resources, or external changes. They may also adjust goals based on progress feedback, unclear or unrealistic targets, or adapt to organizational restructuring. The main purpose is to ensure goals stay realistic, relevant, and achievable.

Administrators will be able to perform different actions within the goals section:

1. Edit a goal

A goal can be edited by an administrator with the right permissions at any time by following the steps described below:

  1. Go to your Performance section. Next click on Goals.
  2. Access the Cycles tab and select the cycle containing the goal you want to modify by clicking the total number of goals associated with that cycle.
  3. Click on the three dots icon next to the goal you want to modify and click on the Edit button.
  4. Once the modifications are done, click on the Update goal button to save your changes.

The change will now be saved into the system and the change will appear on the goal’s Change history section.

2. Change a goal’s owner

On occasions a goal’s owner may change during the duration of a cycle due to organizational changes or project modifications, for that reason administrators will be able to modify the owner of a goal at any time by following these steps:

  1. Go to your Performance section and click on Goals.
  2. Access the Cycles tab and select the cycle containing the goal you want to modify by clicking the total number of goals associated with that cycle.
  3. Click on the goal that you want to assign a new owner, next click on the three dots icon.
  4. Select the Change owner of this goal button. A new window will open.
  5. Select the new owner and click the Update owner button to save your changes.

The new owner will now be able to see the goal in their interface, and they will receive a notification each time the assignee makes changes to that goal.
