Can a manager have access to their team dashboard?
Managers are a crucial asset in creating an effective feedback culture within the organization as are the ones that are permanently in contact with their teams, sharing their day to day tasks becoming the first line of defense to detect possible individual or group problems. For this reason, their collaboration with People department is essential as they can become ambassadors of Nailted promoting their team’s participation and measuring the impact that initiatives launched by People or themselves to solve an issue have. In order to perform this role, they need to have access to their team dashboard.
The first step to give a manager access to their team dashboard is providing administrator permissions. Nailted has a manager role with predefined permissions which are the ones regularly selected by companies, however if you would like to provide different permissions to the predefined for managers it is possible to customize them. There are two different methods to provide administrators permissions:
To give administrator permissions from the user profile, follow the steps below:
Go to Team and select People.
Search for the user you would like to provide administrator permissions and click on it.
Click on the pencil that appears next to Access Level and a new window will appear for you to choose between the different profiles manager profiles available. Bellow each one of the roles and permissions attached to it are explained:

1:1 meetings: The user will be able to see their team 1:1 meetings and create 1:1 templates.

Turnover rate: The user won’t have visibility over their teams turnover rate information.
Create groups: The user will be able to only create private groups.
Custom: This option allows you to provide a more customized permission to a person, being able to choose among the following possibilities:

Reviews & Check-ins: You can choose among the following options:
1:1 meetings: The options available are the following:
No access
See 1:1 meetings: The user will be able to perform 1:1 meetings through Nailted with their team.
See and create 1:1 templates: The user will be able to perform 1:1 meetings with their team and create new 1:1 meeting templates.

Create groups: The user will be able to:
Once selected the profile, click on the Grant Admin access that will create the administrator in draft mode, so you can review all the settings.
Next, set up the manager groups visibility on the Groups visibility tab.

If you have selected the Manager role on the previous step and this person has been assigned direct reports, a group containing all of them will be created automatically for your convenience.

There are two types of information visibility access:
**Finally, click on the Invite button to invite the new administrator that will receive a notification to the added email address with the instructions to join Nailted as an administrator.
To provide administrator permissions from the settings section, follow the next steps:
Admin (Full access): The user will have permissions to access all the Nailted modules.
Manager: The user will have limited permissions over the following Nailted modules, being able to access to the following information:
Custom polls: Visibility over their teams custom polls.
Messages: The user will be able to see and reply to their team's messages.

There are two types of information visibility access:
No, you can set up the manager configuration prior to activating your people in Nailted and invite them to the platform once you have activated them so that they can have visibility over their teams and can track them from day 1.
